Due Vigne 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon

This Cabernet Sauvignon is grown at the Houle Family Vineyard. The clone 4 selection on 3309 rootstock matches the lean soils in the vineyard perfectly. Small clusters, meagerly filled bring forth an incredible red fruit intensity. Fruit forward and intense with cherry and berry, this concentration of tightly wound fruit is derived from a miniscule yield of 2.7 pounds per vine.

Black cherry, blueberries, currant and cassis with a hint of mocha and toast carry forward with rich fruit flavors throughout the palate followed by a long and luxurious finish.
